TIO -RC 822 is silica – alumina treated Titanium Dioxide pigment produced by 2 the Chloride process. It has the highest degree of gloss and tint retention properties in exterior film applications. It is characterized by an optical balance of high initial gloss, ease of dispersion, opacifying power and exterior weathering properties.
TIO -RC 822 is recommended for interior and exterior enamels and lacquers for industrial and architectural purposes. Its characteristics include high dispersibility. This pigment offers superb hiding power while remaining dispersion stable over a broad spectrum of coating applications including powder paints.
RC 822 is a medium durable chloride process titanium dioxide with a bluish tint tone and high dispersibility, ideal for use in plastics that require excellent weatherability, such as outdoor PVC profiles and sidings, polyolefins/co-polymers/elastomers and engineering plastics.
Additionally, this colorant demonstrates excellent color hiding properties when applied via coil and radiation cure finishes, with exceptional dispersibility wetting readily across both aqueous and solvent based systems including paints/plastisols/coatings etc.
